Approximately 20 full-time positions to be filled by December 2013

THOMASTON, GA (9/6/2013) – Standard Textile, the world’s leading manufacturer and provider of total solutions in the institutional textiles and apparel markets, is now recruiting full-time associates for its manufacturing and distribution centers in Thomaston, Ga. Approximately twenty positions will be filled by the end of 2013. Available positions include sheet and terry weavers, tie–in operators and machine technicians.

The new positions are a result of expanding business, implementation of innovative manufacturing processes, and the purchase of weaving equipment and machinery.

Since 2009, Standard Textile Thomaston has had a steady upward headcount trend with no layoffs. “Compared to national voluntary turnover rates, the percentage at Thomaston’s facilities is quite low,” stated Michael Green, human resources manager.

We’re looking for associates who have experience in sheeting and terry weaving, machine operators (weavers), tie-in operators and weave machine technicians.”
