Standard Textile is committed to engineering products that reduce energy consumption at both the manufacturing and end-user levels, as well as incorporating recycled and sustainable fibers.
Products manufactured using our patented Centium Core Technology® are stronger and last longer than traditional linens, reducing landfill contribution and ultimately, operational costs. Purchasing a product that is priced low but wears prematurely does not help the environment or the customer's bottom line. The company recognizes that it's important to design systems and products that will decrease environmental impact and reduce costs.

Another step the company has taken has been to pre-launder its sheets and towels through its Room Ready For You® laundered with Tide® program. Through the program, customers receive terry and sheeting products that are hygienically clean and ready to use right out of the box. Due to industrial engineering and process efficiencies, Standard Textile can launder and dry its products with 58 percent less energy consumption than would normally be required by a typical on site laundry.
In addition, Standard Textile also markets products made with recycled materials. One example of this is the recently introduced Crypton® Green commercial upholstery fabrics, which are made from 100 percent recycled polyester.
