Standard Textile’s Carl Rau to Retire;
Cecil Lee Named as Successor

CINCINNATI, OHIO (11/4/2013) – Standard Textile announces that Carl Rau, Laundry Market Manager, retired on November 1, 2013 after seven years with the company. Cecil Lee, who has more than 25 years of laundry industry experience, has been named Rau’s successor.

“We hired Carl to expand our presence, enhance our reputation, and grow our sales in the central/co-op marketplace,” said John Wintz, Group Vice President. “This area of our business continues to grow and being successful in the laundry industry remains a priority for Standard Textile.”

Rau brought 35 years of laundry experience to the Standard Textile team, working previously as a general manager and in business development for a national laundry outsourcing company.

“We appreciate all that Carl has done over the years and wish him a successful retirement,” said Wintz. “We look forward to welcoming Cecil Lee and appreciate the expertise he will provide to all of our valued customers in the laundry marketplace.”

Lee is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University. He has been in the laundry business for more than 25 years, working for a national laundry company and other laundries in Ohio, Michigan and New York.
