Standard Textile Receives Award from OneSource

Our local nonprofits do so much for our communities every day, and we value and respect their passion for providing a better life for everyone. By partnering with OneSource, these organizations get the opportunity to push themselves and their missions even further. By supporting OneSource, we are able to help strengthen nonprofits, so they can support and enrich even more people throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Recently we had the honor to participate in an event called “Illuminate the Night,” a fundraiser hosted by OneSource. We are always excited to get the chance to work with OneSource because we believe and share in their vision, and it’s a great opportunity to meet with some of the local nonprofits that have benefited from this partnership.

Illuminate the Night celebrated our community’s commitment to making a positive impact on the Cincinnati region so organizations like QKidz and its founder Marquicia Jones-Woods can continue providing after-school dance instruction while developing women of strength. The “Illuminate the Night” event was a huge success, generating over $135,000 that will help countless nonprofits.

We were proud to sponsor the event alongside Cushman & Wakefield and cruise sponsor Duke Energy. It was a meaningful night spent with friends and colleagues, aboard the famous Belle of Cincinnati riverboat. We were able to dine, socialize, and see some of the exciting art installations from BLINK, including the vibrant rainbow lights along the Roebling Suspension Bridge.

Partnering with OneSource is one of the many ways that Standard Textile gives back and works to enrich our local communities. We’ve inherited our strong sense of charity and philanthropy from our founder, Charles Heiman, and we’ve never lost sight of our responsibility to give back and support others when able.

To add to the magic of an already incredible night, we were proud to receive the 2019 Community Partner Award from OneSource. When a respected partner takes the time to recognize us and our contributions, it reminds us of the positive impact we can have and motivates us to continue working together with others to build a thriving community for all.
