Honors given for Compliance & Integrity Award and National Account Manager of the Year Award
CINCINNATI, Ohio (4/13/16) – Vizient, Inc., the largest member-owned health care company in the United States, yesterday announced the recognition of Standard Textile and Norman Frankel, Executive Vice President of Sales, for service excellence in 2015. Standard Textile received the Vizient Compliance & Integrity Award, and Norman Frankel received the National Account Manager of the Year Award.
The awards were presented on Tuesday, April 12 during the 2016 Vizient Suppliers Summit, held in Las Vegas.
“Health care providers continue to face increased economic and clinical pressures. Vizient’s Supplier Summit is about making meaningful connections between suppliers and distributors and the members we serve. These connections help us collectively address and overcome the challenges facing our industry,” said Pete Allen, Executive Vice President, Sourcing Operations. “It is also the best forum to recognize and celebrate the outstanding performers who served our legacy VHA and University HealthSystem Consortium members, Provista and members of Children’s Hospital Association in 2015.”
“It is a real honor to be named Vizient’s National Account Manager of the Year,” said Norman Frankel. “This award, in combination with Standard Textile being named as Vizient’s Compliance & Integrity Company of the Year, speaks volumes about the outstanding work our company does every day in serving America’s health care community.”
Vizient’s diverse membership and customer base includes academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and non-acute health care providers and represents almost $100 billion in annual purchasing volume.
The Vizient brand identity represents the integration of VHA Inc., University HealthSystem Consortium and Novation, which combined in 2015, as well as the recently acquired MedAssets’ Spend and Clinical Resource Management (SCM) segment, which includes Sg2. In 2016, Vizient received a World’s Most Ethical Company designation from the Ethisphere Institute.
