While COVID-19 prevented AORN (the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) from hosting its annual Global Surgical Conference & Expo in-person this spring, the virtual event for AORN members is available through July 31, 2020.
Standard Textile is pleased to provide an educational session on-demand as part of the digital event. AORN members may receive free continuing education contact hours from our seminar: “The Role of Textiles in Creating a Safer and Healthier Perioperative Environment.”
Our educational program focuses on:
A strategic supply chain solution, reusable products, including sterile drapes, Level 3 OR gowns, Level 4 OR gowns, and Level 1 and 2 isolation gowns can play a critical role in creating a safe, sustainable perioperative environment for the long-term.
Standard Textile restructured our supply chain and manufacturing to support the healthcare industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. We added shifts across our operations, from fabric weaving to cut and sew operations, and have supplied hundreds of thousands of OR Gowns and PPE’s to help during this crisis.
In addition to our partnership with AORN and its membership, we have a team of resources available to help with analysis and implementation of a comprehensive reusable textile program.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns. We are here for assistance as you move forward with your needs for your perioperative practice.
