Trevira CS textiles have a luxurious hand, high color brilliance, light fastness, abrasion resistance, and are easy to care for. Trevira CS fabrics are finely woven with flame retardant fibers to create comfortable and safe textiles. Let’s take a look at what makes Trevira textiles so unique.

A pioneer in the field of flame retardancy, Trevira CS textiles meet all important fire safety standards. This is done without any chemical finish. The permanently flame-retardant polyester fibers form the foundation for a new generation of functional textiles. These properties cannot be washed out and won’t diminish with age or usage.
The flame retardant properties are firmly anchored in the fiber thus allowing them to remain unaffected by external influences. While many fabrics can have a flame retardant finish added to them, Trevira CS fabrics are inherently flame retardant.
One advantage of Trevira CS fabrics are the polyester properties. Textiles made from polyester consume fewer resources. Unlike other materials, they need substantially less water and detergent when laundering, and – thanks to the short drying times – less energy for the drying process. Because there is no chemical finish on Trevira CS fabrics, when washed, there is no release of finish that could be harmful to the environment.
Just how flame retardant are Trevira CS fabrics? Comparative burning tests show how this remarkable fabric stacks up against conventional textiles.
The science behind Trevira CS fabrics isn’t the only thing that makes them a hot commodity in healthcare and hospitality markets. Their multi-purpose fabrics can be used for privacy curtains, top of bed, and window treatments.
From bold patterns to soft, dreamy neutrals, our Trevira CS fabric capsule collection brings function and style to any room or project.
