While conventional “linen saver” underpads are designed solely to protect the underlying linen, Standard Textile’s clinical underpads for incontinence are designed with patient skin care in mind. Not only do these engineered products protect the linen but they also control moisture, shear, and friction in a manner that positively affects the quality of skin care outcomes.
ComPly® is a patented tri-component construction that wicks fluid away from the patient through its quick-drying, non-absorbent top surface, pulls the fluid through a unique 50/50 synthetic/cotton middle ply, and traps the fluid in a super-absorbent all-cotton lower ply. ComPly® fabric is knitted as a singular material with different content in different portions of the fabric, as opposed to layering multiple materials. This enhances patient care management by reducing moisture, shear, and friction against your patient’s skin.
ComPly® is also available in a laminated unipad construction that extends service life, enhances durability, reduces mechanical damage, and folds more easily and efficiently. ComPly® Excel Plus lays flatter for a more comfortable fit beneath the patient. Both versions of ComPly® save up to 50% over the total cost of disposable systems.
ComPly® underpads for incontinence feature a teal vinyl barrier with a white face fabric and are offered in two distinct weights. The original ComPly® is 10.5 oz, offering the highest level of clinical performance. Our 7.5 oz version has been modified for laundry efficiency by removing the upper polyester loop. Available in sizes 17″x24″, 30″x33″, 30″x36″, and 30″x42″.
